Hi Matt,

Take a look at
https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07CZ2FSCB/ref=sspa_dk_detail_0

Specs from Intel are at:
https://ark.intel.com/products/126143/Intel-NUC-Kit-NUC8i7HVK

Sounds like just what you’re looking for.

Rick
Must run Linux well
Probably I7 processor
Needs to accept at least 32GB of RAM
Multiple USB 3.1 ports
It would be nice if it supports both an M2 stick as well as a 2.5" drive
Should be able to drive a 4K monitor
Any suggestions for a site with a good search engine? Or even particular models?

I actually picked up a gamer edition (skull canyon) with a 1TB M.2 SSD,
32GB ram, and i7 processor for around $800 on Ebay.

It was half the price of the comparable (new) Dell mini with less ram.

Great little box, though I'm using it as a windows10 desktop and running
virtual machines. Extremely portable. It claims it can drive 2x4k,
though I just have a Dell 36" monitor on it with HDMI that is working
great. Also, the Bluetooth range on it is pretty extreme.

I don't see why it wouldn't run Linux natively, and I've thought about
it, but need some of the desktop apps for facile doc exchange.
